Loved by product teams
The changelog stopped being a chore
“We shipped for two years without telling anyone. Signal turned our merge history into a changelog our customers actually bookmark — support tickets asking “did you fix X?” basically vanished.”
Mara Chen
Head of Product, Northwind
“The drafts are shockingly good. It reads the PR, skips the refactor noise, and writes the sentence I would have written — twenty minutes of dread down to one approve click.”
Eli Ambrose
Engineering Lead, Lumeo
“The widget pays for itself. Feature adoption on new releases doubled once What's New started badging inside the app instead of dying in an email nobody opens.”
Priya Raghavan
Founder, Basecoat
FAQ
Answers, before you ask
Everything teams check before switching their changelog to Signal.
Does Signal publish without my approval?
Never by default. Every release lands as a draft you review, edit, and approve. Teams that trust the pipeline can turn on auto-publish per project — it's one toggle, and it's off until you say otherwise.
What does it connect to?
GitHub, Linear, and Jira today, with GitLab in beta. Signal reads merged pull requests, closed issues, and shipped tickets — it never needs write access to your code.
Can I keep my existing changelog URL?
Yes. Point your domain or subdomain at Signal and we serve the hosted changelog there, certificate included. Existing URLs can be redirected release-by-release so old links keep working.
How customizable is the widget?
Colors, fonts, corner radius, position, and dark mode are all configurable from the dashboard — no rebuild, changes apply live. It ships as one small script tag with no iframe.
Where does the feedback go?
Reactions and comments attach to the release, and feature requests can be routed straight into your tracker as issues with the customer's context attached — so the loop closes where your team already works.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — one project, the hosted changelog, and the widget, free forever. Paid plans add AI drafting, email and Slack delivery, custom domains, and more teammates.
